PhD title:
Bayesian improvements to radiocarbon calibration and palaeoecological compilations
Research field:
My research interests lie in the use of statistical techniques and Bayesian models to improve palaeoecology chronologies. My doctoral research is based on the development a statistical treatment of Lead-210 data and the use of this treatment to develop a robust chronology model which can incorporate different sources of information such as radiocarbon ages and/or tephra. With this research, I seek to further the study of isotopic chronologies by incorporating a Bayesian framework in Lead dating.
