PhD Title:
Pigs, Pits and Persistent Places During the Mesolithic
Research Field:
My research topic focuses on food procurement, preparation and storage strategies of Ireland’s Mesolithic populations. Various techniques (GIS-phasing, isotopic analyses, use-wear and residue analysis) will be used, permitting understanding of Mesolithic subsistence and mobility, and a comprehensive review of dietary information will secure comparisons with North-West Europe.
