PhD title:

A Chronology for Craft-Working in Early Medieval Ireland

Research field:

My research topic aims to construct a chronology for craft-working (metalworking, bone-working, antler-working, etc.) in early medieval Ireland through the collation of existing radiocarbon dates and by obtaining new dates also. From this, I am interested in charting spatiotemporal patterns in this activity throughout the period and interpreting the social significance of any changes detected.
